Where are student assessments headed in Oregon? Educators from around the state will join national experts for a discussion of the state of Oregon's assessments and how we can finally break with narrowly-focused high-stakes testing, and the state's punitive approach to educator accountability. For more information or to register visit the OEA website.

Once again, PAT is a proud sponsor of the World Arts Foundation MLK Anniversary Celebration. The event takes place Monday January 18th, from 12:00-6:00 p.m. at the Highland Christian Center, 7600 NE Glisan St, Portland, OR 97213.

The first IPD meeting of the year is scheduled for January 6, 4:30 p.m. at the PAT office. We'll be discussing assessments, safety, discipline and any other instructional interests. IPD is open to all PAT members.

 

In January, the Social Justice and Community Outreach (SJCO) Committee will be surveying all PAT members about the various community and civic organizations you are involved with, and to determine who we should invite to our upcoming community forums.
