Your PAT bargaining team is happy to share that today was positive and productive. We made significant progress towards bringing educators and students back to our schools with improved teaching and learning conditions for all Portland Public Schools.
The positive movement today is a direct result of the overwhelming support the district has seen from our members and our community for our proposals - now is not the time to slow down, it is the time to relentlessly persist in our efforts.
It’s 11:30 pm, so we are headed home. We will be back at the table tomorrow morning.
