Every school should make sure their building organizers, building reps, or designated alternates, attend the special meeting this Thursday, January 21st at 4:30 p.m. in the PAT office.
As you know, we have been in negotiations with the District for some time over the serious safety and discipline issues in PPS, as well as the District's plans to revise the Safety and Discipline Handbook.We hope to have a tentative agreement on several of these issues to present and discusson Thursday, and ultimately bring to the members to ratify. We need to make sure every member is in the loop, and building organizers are a key part of the process. We will also launch the next phase in our signature gathering effort for the Better Oregon campaign, so make sure your school is represented.
